Welcome Megan Stymiest & Martin Bourgeois
Cox & Palmer is pleased to welcome Megan Stymiest and Martin Bourgeois to the firm as associates in our Fredericton office.
Prior to being called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2016, Megan had the opportunity to intern at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Megan has a general litigation practice with a focus on insurance litigation.
Megan obtained a law degree from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. She was on the Dalhousie University Women’s Volleyball Team and was an Academic All-Canadian in 2012-2013.
Martin received a Juris Doctor from Université de Moncton (2015) and was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2016. Prior to pursuing a legal career, he spent over 10 years researching and developing specialized instrumentation for the optics industry. Through his work with international clients, Martin was invited to present his research in the US and Hungary. He taught Physics at Université de Moncton and was involved in a number of science and technology societies. Martin received a PhD in Physics from Université Laval in 2006.
Martin has a general litigation practice with a focus on science and technology.
