Two Lawyers in Our Saint John Office Received a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal
Cox & Palmer is extremely pleased to announce that we have two lawyers in our Saint John office who received a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. The honour is given to someone who has made a significant contribution to their province or community. Nominations were made by peers, colleagues and partner organizations. The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal is a way to celebrate the accomplishments of deserving Canadians.
Franklin O. Leger, QC has been involved with community service for over five decades by providing his leadership, expertise and experience to charitable, religious, health, educational and legal affiliations, including President or Chair of Family Services, Saint John Inc., Canadian Red Cross Society, NB Division, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Inc., Rocmaura Foundation Inc., Rothesay Heritage Preservation Review Board, and the Saint John Law Society. He also served for many years as a member of the Board of Governors of St. Thomas University and as NB representative on the Advisory Board of Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association. Frank is a recipient of the Ilsa Greenblatt-Shore distinguished graduate award from UNB Law School.
William H. Teed, QC is valued by his peers and community for his involvement in professional and charitable organizations including Vice Chair, Enterprise Saint John, Chair, Atlantic Health Sciences Corp., President, Saint John Boys and Girls Club, President, Saint John Rotary Club, President, Rotary Admiral Beatty Senior Citizens Complex, Member, National Capital Commission, President, New Brunswick Branch, Canadian Bar Association, Member, Saint John Law Society Council and Lecturer, Bar Admission Course. Bill is the recipient of a Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International.
