Paul is an associate in Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office. Paul graduated from the University of Kings College with an Honours Double Major in history and contemporary studies, following which he earned a Masters’s Degree in history from the University of Western Ontario. He completed his law degree at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2018. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019.

During law school, Pain gained litigation experience with Legal Aid Ontario and the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service. Prior to joining Cox & Palmer, Paul worked at a medium sized firm in the Annapolis Valley.

Paul is a member of Cox & Palmer’s Family Law group.

Experience

Paul provides guidance and strategic thinking to assist with all types family law disputes: separation, divorce, parenting, support, asset division and debt. Paul has experience litigating family law disputes throughout Nova Scotia.

Paul combines experience and technology to efficiently prepare agreements including: cohabitation and marriage contracts, adoptions, separation agreements and uncontested divorces.

Paul also assists with adult representation applications under the Adult Capacity and Decision-Making Act (ACDMA).
