Matthew is an Associate in our Fredericton office. He is a courtroom litigator with a specialty in employment, labour and administrative law.
As a barrister, Matthew has appeared before all levels of court in New Brunswick—including the Court of Appeal—to litigate a wide variety of contractual, commercial and workplace disputes in both the public and private sectors. He regularly assists clients to strategically maneuver complex litigation before courts and administrative bodies, including tribunals, arbitrators, commissions and boards. Matthew also provides comprehensive legal services and advice to police forces in the Province.
Matthew is bilingual in French and English and frequently advises clients in both official languages. He was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2022. He obtained both a common law degree and a civil law degree from McGill University in Montréal, Québec. Prior to law school, Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Arts (double honours with distinction) from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys skiing, cycling and playing the tenor saxophone.
