New Brunswick Welcomes New Associates!
The New Brunswick team is experiencing rapid growth, as we proudly welcome nine new associates. Many of them started their careers with Cox & Palmer as students and recently completed their articles. They were officially called to the Bar in New Brunswick in June 2024. We are excited to introduce them as our newest Associate Lawyers and eagerly anticipate the valuable contributions they will bring to our teams across the province!
Saint John Office:
Alex Huelin graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy from Renaissance College and the University of New Brunswick in 2019, where he spent 3 months studying in Beijing, China, before going to law school. Alex maintains a general practice with specific interest in Corporate & Commercial Law.
Meghan Beers obtained her Bachelor of Commerce at Mount Allison University in 2020. She earned her Juris Doctor at Dalhousie University in 2023. Meghan maintains a general practice with emphasis on commercial, estate and insurance litigation.
Mark Robertson graduated from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of law in 2023. Before attending law school Mark obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, as well a conjoint Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He has a general legal practice with a growing interest in litigation.
Bliss White graduated from McGill University’s bilingual Faculty of Law, Bliss received a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor in 2023. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History with Distinction from St. Thomas University in 2014 and a Master of Arts in History from the University of New Brunswick in 2019. He articled at the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick, where he clerked for the Chief Justice of New Brunswick and the other judges of the Court.
Moncton Office:
Caroline Korytko earned a Juris Doctor at the Université de Moncton in 2023, after having completed a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Criminology from Saint-Mary’s University in 2018. She has a general legal practice, with a growing interest in insurance and family law.
Charles-Olivier Roussel earned a Juris Doctor at the Université de Moncton in 2023, after having completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with Management emphasis in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration in 2018 both at Université de Moncton. He carries a general legal practice, with a growing interest in corporate and commercial law. He is bilingual and regularly assists clients in both English and French.
Jacob Imbeault earned a Juris Doctor at the Université de Moncton in 2023. With a passion for corporate and commercial law, Jacob brings a blend of expertise to the legal field. His prior experience as a Realtor enriches his understanding of real estate law, enhancing his ability to navigate complex transactions and negotiations.
Fredericton Office:
Jenna Smith practices in the areas of labour and employment law and human rights. Jenna’s legal practice also focuses on conducting workplace investigations. Prior to attending law school, Jenna attended the University of Guelph where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Political Science followed by law school at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law.
Gabriel Laidlaw-Bale maintains a general legal practice with a particular interest in civil litigation. Gabriel obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2018. Afterwards, he completed his Juris Doctor degree at the University of New Brunswick in 2023.
