Meet the New President of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society
Cox & Palmer is pleased to announce that Daniel M. Campbell, QC, has assumed the position of President of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
Dan is the past recipient of the Distinguished Service Award presented by the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society to a practicing lawyer who has made significant contributions to the
profession, the community and the Society.
Dan has played an active role in both the Lawyers’ Insurance Association of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Lawyers’ Insurance Association. He was a part-time faculty member at
Dalhousie University. Dan is a trustee of St. Matthew’s United Church, Victoria Hall and the Halifax YMCA.
One of Cox & Palmer’s senior litigators, Dan’s practice focuses on professional liability matters. His practice also includes corporate & commercial law with a particular emphasis on regulated industries and competition law.
