Loretta Manning Receives Lexpert Zenith Award
We are pleased to announce that Loretta Manning from our Halifax office has been honoured with a Lexpert Zenith Award.
Celebrating diversity and inclusion, the 2016 Zenith Award was bestowed upon those nominees who have demonstrated excellence and action in advancing diversity and inclusion in both the legal profession and society.
Loretta took the helm of Cox & Palmer’s regional diversity committee when the firm became a member of the Law Firm Diversity and Inclusion Network (LFDIN), a group of Canadian law firms who work together to promote diversity and inclusion within their firms and the broader legal profession. During her tenure in that role, she was instrumental in spearheading a number of initiatives, including Cox & Palmer becoming the first Atlantic Canadian business member in Pride at Work Canada, a non-profit organization which supports the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-identified (LGBT) employees in the workplace.
