Congratulations to Michelle Kelly, Partner in the Halifax office, recently named national chair of The Coalition of Provincial and Territorial Advisory Councils on the Status of Women.

The Coalition of Provincial and Territorial Advisory Councils on the Status of Women consists of provincial and territorial advisory bodies from across the country dedicated to advancing women’s issues within their individual regions, but who come together in the interest of women on a national level.

Michelle is also Chair of the NS Advisory Council on the Status of Women, which was created to educate the public and advise the provincial government on issues of interest and concern to women in the province of Nova Scotia.

Throughout her career, Michelle has worked extensively with issues directly affecting women, including domestic violence.  She is the past chair of the board for Alice Housing, an organization which provides safe second stage housing and supportive counselling to women and children leaving domestic abuse.

Cox & Palmer is pleased to recognize the contributions of Michelle, and all those who work vigilantly towards diversity, inclusion and equality.
