Cox & Palmer Welcomes Two New Partners
The Halifax office of Cox & Palmer is proud to welcome Michelle Kelly and Glenn Hodge into partnership.
Michelle’s practice focuses on insurance defence work, property and construction litigation. In a recent Supreme Court trial, Michelle successfully limited general damages under the Minor Injury Legislation in Nova Scotia. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Michelle received her law degree from the University of New Brunswick. Michelle serves on the board of Alice Housing and volunteers with reachAbility and Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia.
Glenn has a successful practice in the area of mortgage enforcement, debt recovery and collections. He joined the firm in 2003, after receiving his law degree from Queen’s University. Earlier in his career, Glenn was Assistant Commission Counsel to the Nunn Commission of Inquiry (the McEvoy Inquiry), a provincial public inquiry that considered issues of youth criminal justice. He regularly appears before the
Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. Glenn is a member of the organizing committee for the annual Gallivan Cystic Fibrosis Golf Tournament.
Individually, Michelle and Glenn, excel in their respective fields of practice. Together they are part of an Atlantic Canadian team of people who are leaders in their professions and in their communities.
