Cox & Palmer Welcomes Counsel
Cox & Palmer today announced that the Honourable Michel P. Samson, former member of the Legislative Assembly in the Province of Nova Scotia, has joined the firm’s Halifax office as counsel.

A bilingual graduate of Dalhousie Law School, Michel began his law practice in Port Hawkesbury before spending 19 years as a Member of the Nova Scotia Legislature. Michel’s cabinet assignments included acting Minister of Justice and Attorney General (2016- 2017), Minister of Energy, Trade and Acadian Affairs (2015 – 2017) Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism (2013 – 2015), and Government House Leader (2013-2017).
