Cox & Palmer Mourns the Loss of Roland C. Snelgrove, KC
It is with profound sadness that Cox & Palmer acknowledges the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Roland C. Snelgrove, QC. Roland was recently counsel with the St. John’s office and a partner for many years.
Roland will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of working with him. He was a warm and kind individual, a lawyer who loved the law, and a friend who was genuinely interested in the people around him.
Roland practised for over 40 years and built one of the largest real estate practices in the Newfoundland and Labrador legal community. He was listed as a “Lawyer of the Year” in 2020 by Best Lawyers in Canada for Real Estate Law and was consistently recognized in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Property Development.
Roland’s loyalty to the firm and his colleagues was unsurpassed. His strength of character, perseverance through adversity, and respect for those around him was an inspiration to us all. He will be dearly missed.
