Cox & Palmer Mediator Awarded ‘Q. Med’ Designation
Jim Musgrave, QC received the ADR Institute of Canada’s “Qualified Mediator” designation on June 7, 2011. The ‘Q. Med’ designation provides nationally recognized credentials confirming that the mediator meets nationally and regionally set standards for mediation training and experience.
Through his mediation practice, “ReSolution ADR”, Jim helps people and organizations resolve their conflicts themselves, making for better outcomes, saving time, money and relationships, and avoiding the risk and cost of litigation.
With more than 20 years experience as a commercial lawyer, Jim focuses principally on mediating disputes of all kinds, while maintaining an active practice in a broad range of commercial work across Atlantic Canada.
Jim is a member of the National Executive of the Canadian Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and a member of the Board of the ADR Institute of Canada. He also serves on the mediator rosters for the Nova Scotia Public Service Commission’s respectful workplace program, the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission, and the Workers’ Compensation Board’s respectful workplace program.
