Cox & Palmer Donates $7,500 to The Gathering Place

December 21, 2021

The St. John’s office of Cox & Palmer today announced a $7,500 donation to The Gathering Place. The donation is the result of an internal fundraising campaign to support the community health centre, which was voted to be the office’s internal ‘Charity of Choice’ for 2021.

“It gives us great pleasure to present The Gathering Place with this donation,” says Leanne O’Leary, managing partner of Cox & Palmer. “We are humbled and inspired by the valuable services The Gathering Place provides to the vulnerable members of our community; we hope this donation will further their important work.”

The donation was made possible by the continuous generosity of the staff and lawyers of Cox & Palmer. Funds were raised through various internal events that occurred regularly throughout 2021.

Cox & Palmer congratulates the Fundraising Committee and our team members for their generous contributions. The firm would also like to thank the many businesses and organizations who contributed to our fundraising efforts over the past year.

The members of Cox & Palmer’s Fundraising Committee are Janie Betts, Haley Burry, Sandi Chafe, Amanda Hobbs, Jennifer Konieczny, Chantel Lawlor, Mark McGrath, Shelley Reid, Nikita Richards, Joanne Simfukwe, Allison Taylor, and Ashley Tippett.
