You know that sound your computer makes when you turn it on?
Well now it can be trademarked under Canadian Law.
The change came this week after MGM studios spent years trying to win the right to trademark the lion’s roar at the beginning of its films.
The CBC’s Blair Sanderson sat down with a trademark lawyer, Stewart Hayne, to understand the impact the new rules.
