Arthur Doyle Named Rising Star of the Legal Community
Cox & Palmer is proud to announce that Arthur T. Doyle, a Partner in our Saint John office, was named a Lexpert® Rising Star – Leading Lawyer Under 40 for a second consecutive year, at an industry awards dinner in Toronto on November 12, 2009.
Recipients of the Rising Stars Award must be under 40 years of age, and be nominated by their peers for their outstanding professional achievements and community leadership.
A native of New Brunswick, Arthur is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and Osgoode Hall Law School. Arthur represents public and private companies in a wide range of transactions, including public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financing transactions and corporate reorganizations.
Arthur is active in the legal profession as Chair of the New Brunswick Securities Sub-Committee (Business Law Section) of the Canadian Bar Association and as the New Brunswick Representative of the Canadian Bar Association Securities Committee.
Arthur represents public and private companies in a wide range of transactions, including public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, financing transactions and corporate reorganizations.
He practices in the area of corporate finance/securities; represents a broad range of Atlantic Canadian companies, and is involved in many of Canada’s national offerings and other securities related transactions originating elsewhere in Canada, the United States and abroad.
Arthur has extensive experience in acting for a broad range of capital markets participants including public issuers, institutional shareholders, dealers and registrants, brokerage houses, investment counsellors, mutual fund sales organizations and their respective representatives and sales persons in a wide variety of proceedings before securities commissions and self-regulatory organizations.
Earlier this year Lexpert® also named Arthur among the ‘Canadian Corporate Lawyers to Watch’ in 2009. Arthur was the only lawyer from Atlantic Canada among the 26 recognized.
