A Growing Partnership
It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of six new partners to Cox & Palmer: Alison Bird (Halifax), Jacqueline Boucher (Saint John), Jessica Bungay (Fredericton), Jeffrey Flinn (Halifax), Amy MacGregor (Halifax), and April Parker (Moncton).

Alison Bird works closely with our clients to provide tailored, effective solutions for the employment and labour challenges they face. She also advises on matters involving regulated professions, discipline and governance issues.
Jacqueline Boucher practices primarily in the area of family and estates litigation, and has a growing practice in assisted reproduction law. Jacqueline strives to ensure clients receive mindful and constructive advice that is attuned to the personal and emotional nature of these areas of law. In 2017, she was awarded the Young Lawyers Leadership Award on behalf of the Saint John Law Society.
Jessica Bungay practices primarily in the areas of employment and labour, human rights and administrative law. Adept at handling delicate situations, Jessica helps clients solve immediate workplace issues, while also anticipating potential future issues and establishing a plan to mitigate risks.
Jeff Flinn maintains a diverse litigation practice. Representing the interests of insurers, he has handled cases for the insurance industry at all levels of courts in Nova Scotia. He represents major lending institutions involved in litigation matters and works closely with our foreclosure team.
Amy MacGregor’s practice focuses primarily on the insurance defence industry and advising regulated professionals. She has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia.
April Parker’s primary area of practice is in corporate and commercial law. She also practices in commercial and residential real estate, as well as estate planning, including preparing last will & testaments and powers of attorney.
