Cox & Palmer Welcomes Family Law Lawyer, Michelle Axworthy
Michelle Axworthy has joined the Halifax partnership of the law firm of Cox & Palmer.
Michelle brings compassion, practicality and efficiency to her practice of family law. As a Partner in the Halifax office, she will work closely with her clients to assist in the negotiation and preparation of separation agreements, cohabitation and marriage contracts, adoptions, and assisted reproduction agreements.
Michelle is experienced is all family law issues related to parenting, support, division of assets and debts, inter-jurisdictional disputes and considerations related to business ownership. She appears regularly between the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia Family Division and Court of Appeal.
Before being admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar, Michelle completed her law degree at Queen’s University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French and Spanish from the University of King’s College.
