Cox & Palmer welcomes our new colleague, Mohammad Ali Raza to our Halifax office. Mohammad Ali has worked in the corporate sector, both in private practice and as in-house counsel in Asia, the Middle-east and Europe. Prior to him joining Cox & Palmer, he was Senior Counsel/Manager Legal for one of the largest petroleum exploration and production companies in the world.
Mohammad Ali brings a global perspective to the energy industry in Nova Scotia. His experience will benefit our clients as they development their businesses in the oil & gas, mining and energy sectors.
Focused on issues, Mohammad Ali is experienced in drafting contracts, structuring and advising on commercial arrangements and procurements, advising on regulatory regimes, dispute resolution, and legal aspects of sales and operations of upstream and downstream oil & gas business. Mohammad Ali has also had substantial experience of dealing with and handling M&A transactions, power projects, cross-border pipeline projects, and EPC Projects.
