Charlottetown Office Welcomes Steve Forbes

Cox & Palmer’s Charlottetown office is pleased to welcome Steven Forbes to the firm as an associate lawyer. Steve articled with the firm until his recent admission to the Prince Edward Island Bar. He has a growing practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Labour & Employment, Real Estate, Corporate and Commercial, and Estates.

Steve received his Juris Doctor degree in May of 2013 from the University of New Brunswick where he was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards. He graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and in 2005 with a Bachelor of Education. Steve also completed his Masters of Education with the University of Calgary in 2010 while teaching in the Northwest Territories.

Steve is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Bar Association. He has participated in community outreach with the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic and assisted in the organization of the Cox & Palmer Run/Walk for Prostate Cancer. Steve has also been involved in fundraising efforts for the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Steve and his wife, Sandra, reside in Charlottetown with their two children. In addition to enjoying time with his family, Steve indulges his other interests by playing guitar and training with the West River School of Karate.
