Welcoming Athar Malik to our Saint John Office
Cox & Palmer is delighted to announce that Athar Malik has joined our Saint John office and our Intellectual Property & Technology group as an associate. He earned his law degree from the University of Toronto and specialized in intellectual property law for several years with a leading national law firm in Toronto before moving to New Brunswick. Athar is also a registered trade-mark agent. He and the rest of the Cox & Palmer Intellectual Property & Technology team are ready to serve the diverse needs of our clients.
Athar continues to stay at the forefront of the complex legal issues involving intellectual property and technology. He has written and presented on a variety of intellectual property topics. He is currently on the editorial board of the Canadian Intellectual Property Review (CIPR), and serves on the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada’s Trade-mark Legislation and Litigation committees.
In their spare time, Athar and his wife enjoy learning to cook and spending time with friends and family.
