Halifax Office Winter Clothing Drive a Success
Cox & Palmer’s Halifax office recently organized a winter-clothing drive for the Brunswick Street Mission, a not-for-profit organization in Halifax’s north end. The office’s staff and lawyers collected and donated 20 recycling bags full of winter coats, hats, boots, and other warm wear.
The Brunswick Street Mission supports the homeless and those vulnerable to homelessness in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Its goal is to inspire a better quality of life through a ministry of care addressing the physical, emotional, practical, and spiritual needs of those dealing with poverty. The Mission operates a food bank, a clothing bank, a trustee program providing financial stewardship to people facing the challenges of managing on limited income, and a benevolent program helping those in crisis and at risk of homelessness.
