Jack Blackier, FCA Receives LL.M.

Jack M. Blackier, FCA, is a lawyer in Cox & Palmer’s Saint John office, and has graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University with a Masters in Law (LL.M.). Jack concentrated his studies in administrative and constitutional law. This degree ties into his expertise as a tax litigator and forensic accountant. This is an intensive two-year program taught by top legal educators and professors from Osgoode and other leading law schools, along with top practitioners, judges and policy makers. Jack completed his LL.M. through the distance learning program while continuing his legal and accounting practices.

Jack practises in the areas of tax, estate planning, commercial litigation, administrative law, and insurance law. Jack is also the Executive Director of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBICA). Jack’s career is highlighted by numerous awards, scholarly achievements and involvement with a number of community organizations.
