Halifax Appoints New Managing Partner
Cox & Palmer is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Latimer, QC as Managing Partner of the Halifax office effective January 1, 2013.
Kevin succeeds Daniel Gallivan, QC, who successfully led the Halifax office for the past nine years and will remain as Chief Executive Officer of the regional law firm and a Senior Partner in the Halifax office.

Kevin has earned the respect of his colleagues as an excellent lawyer and for his contributions in both the firm and community. I look forward to his leadership as the new Managing Partner. In my role as Chief Executive Officer, I will continue to steward the regional firm while meeting the needs of our clients,” says Mr. Gallivan.
Kevin joined Cox & Palmer in 1985. He became a Partner in 1991. He received his Queen’s Counsel designation in 2004. In addition to his role as Managing Partner of the Halifax office, Kevin will continue serving clients in his practice, which focuses on municipal, regulatory, and employment law and a wide range of litigation matters.
