Cox & Palmer Welcomes Six New Partners
Cox & Palmer is proud to welcome Ian Bilek, Lisa Daly, Jennifer Forster, Chris Peddigrew, Rebekah Powell and Aaron Savage into partnership. Aaron is based in Fredericton, Ian, Jennifer and Rebekah, are located in Halifax, while Lisa and Chris are located in St. John’s.
Aaron (Fredericton) specialises in corporate and commercial law, representing financial institutions, corporations, owner-managed businesses and individuals. He is also a registered trade-mark agent. Aaron was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 2002.
Ian (Halifax) practices in the areas of real estate, financial services and environment law. He is vice chair of the Energy and Resources section of the Canadian Bar Association (NS). Ian was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2003.
Jennifer’s (Halifax) practice focuses on business law in the areas of organization and financing, business restructuring and banking. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Council and is active in various local charities. Jennifer was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1999.
Rebekah (Halifax) is a member of the firm’s labour, employment & administrative law team. She is a board member for Family SOS, a trustee for Victoria Hall and the vice chair of the Labour & Employment section of the Canadian Bar Association (NS). Rebekah was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2003.
Lisa (St. John’s) maintains a corporate & commercial practice and has considerable experience in wills & estates and real estate. She is director of the Lung Association of Newfoundland and Labrador. Lisa was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2004.
Chris (St. John’s) practices primarily labour & employment law. He also practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, general litigation and real estate. Chris was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2004.
Individually they excel in their respective fields of practice. Together they are part of an Atlantic Canadian team who are leaders in their professions and in their communities.
