Michael maintains a busy practice in our St. John’s office which is primarily focused on commercial litigation, banking & finance, and corporate law, while growing his practice in the area of intellectual property & technology law.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick in 2021, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2014. He was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2022 and, prior to joining Cox & Palmer, worked at a busy litigation firm where he successfully represented his clients at all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labador.

Michael takes an active interest in his clients’ matters and works closely with them when advising on issues relating to corporate organizational structures and governance, investment and finance, shareholder matters, and intellectual property.
