Cox & Palmer Appoints Stephen Clark as COO of St. John’s Office

Cox & Palmer announced that Stephen P. Clark, ICD.D, MBA, CPA/CMA, PMP, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of the St. John’s office.

Steve is an experienced leader who brings effective decision-making ability and sound management to the Cox & Palmer team. Steve served as an executive for over 20 years in both the public and private sectors where he set the direction for the organization and led the executive team.

In his new role as COO, Steve will be responsible for overseeing the administration, finance, marketing, human resources, technology, facilities, and all other operations of the St. John’s office. Reporting to the St. John’s management committee, Steve will work collaboratively to develop and implement action plans; guide, coach, and develop the operations management and support teams; and steward change, innovation, and effective communication.

Steve received his Bachelor of Arts – Economics from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has a Masters in Business Administration, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Steve is currently a Director with the College of Registered Nurses of NL, past Director with the Project Management Institute of NL and past volunteer mentor to students through Chartered Professional Accountants of NL.
